Three tools, one job: smaller images
Big photos slow down websites, bounce off email attachments and get rejected by upload forms. ImgShrink fixes the file before you send it — pick a tool, drop your images, download the results.
Compress
Reduce file size while keeping the image looking sharp. Set the quality yourself, or type a target like 200 KB and ImgShrink finds the settings to fit — handy for job applications, visa forms and marketplace uploads with strict limits.
Resize
Change the pixel dimensions of an image. Type an exact width or height, or scale to 25%, 50% or 75% in one click. Aspect ratio stays locked by default, so nothing comes out stretched.
Convert
Turn WebP files into PNG or JPG that every app can open, convert PNG screenshots to compact JPGs, or save photos as WebP for your website. Transparency is preserved when you convert to PNG.
Questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. ImgShrink runs entirely in your browser using technology built into it. Your files are processed on your own device and are never sent anywhere — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
How do I compress an image to a specific size, like 200 KB?
Open the Compress tab, type 200 in the “Target size” box, add your image and press Process. ImgShrink lowers the quality step by step — and shrinks the dimensions too, if quality alone is not enough — until the result fits under your target.
Which formats are supported?
You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and AVIF images (whichever your browser can display) and save results as JPG, PNG or WebP. Animated GIFs are saved as a still image of the first frame.
Is there a limit?
You can process up to 30 images at a time, each up to 15 MB. There is no daily limit and no account to create.
Will compressing ruin my photo's quality?
At the default quality of 80, most photos look identical to the original at a fraction of the size. If a result looks too soft, raise the quality slider and process again — your original file is never changed.
